Pajammy Jam Benefit Party Hosted by Derrick Adams - Saturday, March 31st

From Project for Empty Space: Derrick Adams is pumped to invite you to the Mother of House Parties - a Pajammy Jam on March 31st, from 7-11pm! Join us for night of performances, music by PAPI JUICE + TT The Artist, photobooth spectaculars, dancing, party spirits + bites, and of course multiple battles on our multi-colored floor!

So bring out your billiard themed jammies, your pink leopard print spandex onesies, and your silky shorts, for what will be the Slamminest Party EVER in support of Project for Empty Space.

Special, limited edition jammy sets will be available for purchase by Derrick Adams, David Antonio Cruz, Shoshanna Weinberger, and Wardell Milan.

The Pajammy Jam Party Committee is sure to bring the party- featuring Antwaun Sargent, April Hunt, Ashley Artis, Chris Miss, Ché Morales, Derrick Adams, Joakim von Ditmar, Jill Wickenheisser, Lewis Long, Mashonda Tifrere, Medina, Newark Radio Co-Op and Randy Haze.

All proceeds from our Pajammy Jam go to support Project for Empty Space Initiatives such as:

Artists-In-Residence Program: This initiative fosters three mid-career to established artists in a one-year residency program to create socially inspired work that engages the larger Newark community.

Community Programming and Exhibitions: The exhibition space is dedicated to social change through thought-provoking and culturally relevant exhibitions, in conjunction with exciting, engaging, and inclusionary community programs. Funds will support rotating exhibitions and facilitate programs such as talks, workshops, performances, and more, free and open to the public.

Outdoor Public Art Initiatives: We feel that community engagement should happen both within the exhibition space, but also out in the public arena.
